my strongest passion is for electronic dance music - and its inspired me to travel the world, travel the night, travel the soul. i have a little studio set up in my house, which (we've counted!) has over 1000 separate knobs, buttons and sliders.
i am a phd candidate at columbia, and my primary interest is in getting computers to be smarter about the things that humans do well - especially with respect to music and film. this is a journey into artificial intelligence, computational neuroscience, statistical pattern recognition, psychology, aesthetics, etc.
